Leaf studs made from precious metal clay.
What is metal clay?
Metal clay consists of very small particles of metal mixed with an organic binder and water. It can be shaped just like any soft clay, by hand, molds, or texture plates.
After drying, the clay is fired in a kiln. The binding burns away during the firing process, leaving the pure metal behind.
The piece is polished, tumbled for shine, and then oxidized to create depth and highlight the texture.
